Meet The Rising Stars, Part 4

Meet the fourth in our series featuring the field’s emerging leaders

The Association’s President & CEO, Jim Tedford, recently urged executive leaders in the field to bring their rising stars along with them to The Annual Conference next month. To sweeten the deal, when an executive leader nominates someone on their team, the emerging leader will receive a 50% discount on registration. We were so inspired by the responses that Jim received, and thought you would be, too.

I nominated Coraleigh as an emerging leader because she has been a steady support helping us raise accountability and create processes that keep teams on track. There was a great deal of turmoil and drama before I started with this organization late last year, and while she was affected by it, she maintained a high level of professionalism and stuck with the organization even when it was very hard. She is articulate, compassionate, and interested in learning and rising in the field of animal welfare. She is exactly the kind of person I would like to see stepping up to higher leadership when it’s time for me to retire.

We budgeted to bring two directors to the conference and I like having more than one person in the pipeline, so the opportunity to include Coraleigh would be terrific.
