Using data from Pawlytics, the analysis uncovers trends over time from the period of January 2023 to December 2024. You may be surprised—one key insight showed that foster-based groups represent 15% of national intakes, and achieve an adoption rate that’s higher than the average for brick-and-mortar shelters.
