Tip of the Week: 2-4-6-8, What Do You Appreciate?
Ready for your #MondayMotivation? This week’s tip aims to get you geared up for Employee Appreciation Day, coming up on Friday, March 4.
Do you know what your team wants? What floats their boat? Where they’re most engaged, where they’re disengaged? As research shows, it’s not uncommon for leadership to spend significant resources on efforts that may not be as important or relevant to employees. That’s why the key is to simply ask.
“We use Sparck’s #BeHeard Employee Engagement survey tool,” says Red Rover’s Karly Noel, MA Ed., CHES. The tool focuses on six key engagement drivers, and is one of many resources out there to assess how your employees feel about their work. Are you deploying a similar survey at your organization?

Just passing this on—we’ve heard one of the best ways to get feedback from your staff is to participate in a SeeDS assessment. Many of your colleagues in the field have used it with great success. Here’s what they have to say: https://seeds.charlotte.edu/testimonials/
Now through February 28, members of The Association can sign up to receive a coupon for a 20% discount on the cost of a SeeDS assessment. You have until December 31 to use the coupon, and there are no strings attached. You’re not obligated to use the coupon at all, but why not give yourself the option and sign up just in case: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SeeDSsavings
