Community Cats Central reports measurable year-over-year progress on colony caretakers’ TNR efforts

Back in January, we shared the call for participation in Community Cats Central’s twice-annual Colony Sentiment Survey.

Colony caretakers were asked to report on any trends they were seeing, and the results indicated measurable year-over-year progress. Caretakers indicated that the number of growing colonies has dropped, and that more than half of the colonies have remained stable—representing a small increase over last year.

For more findings, including trends by region and colony size, see Community Cats Central’s blog for a deeper analysis. And if you’re a colony caretaker, stay tuned: a follow-up survey will open in July, to continue to track trends and observations.
