This proactive,and versatile individual will support the vital operations of Good Shepherd Humane Society and the newly established Rural Animal Welfare Working Group, a collaborative initiative addressing the unique challenges and opportunities in animal welfare within rural communities. Deputy Director of Animal Care and Services, City of San Jose
San Jose, CA

Seeking a confident decision-maker who can adeptly and diplomatically navigate sensitive issues while encouraging innovation, cooperation, and accountability. The Deputy Director plans, organizes and directs the overall management, administration, operation and maintenance of ACS activities, facilities, equipment, budget, policies and procedures. The Veterinarian will work closely with other veterinarians and RVTs to provide a range of veterinary care services, including regular spay/neuter and dentals.
