As community initiatives become a larger focus in the sheltering field, leaders are constantly faced with questions about how to ethically develop and implement programming. Join Dr. Brittany Watson next Wednesday, February 2, to discuss research-based guidelines to assist in these decisions.

Watson, the Director of Shelter Medicine & Community Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, will lead us through case examples and next steps for developing an ethical community program during Practicing Ethical Community Engagement, a one-hour webinar that’s part of the Shelter Medicine series.

Note: Practicing Ethical Community Engagement is approved for:

  • Certified Animal Welfare Administrator CE
  • 1 CE towards ACO CE requirements per Ch. 829 of the Texas Health and Safety Code by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS)
  • 1 hour of CE through CFRE
