You’re Invited: DEI Ambassadors Program

Applications for this program, which includes a 3-day in-person training in Columbus, OH, are open now through April 14

Do you represent an organization with a demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within its ranks and in your community? We’re thrilled to let you know about a cohort-based program in which you’ll receive learning resources and facilitation guides customized to address the specific DEI needs of the animal welfare profession. Skills to be honed include how to present on DEI to colleagues in the field and navigating challenging conversations.

The DEI Ambassadors Program includes webinars, a 3-day in-person training in Columbus, OH, and one-on-one coaching.

This program is limited to 20 animal welfare professionals, ideally serving at organizations in OH, WV, IN, MI, and PA, in order to maximize the potential of working together as a regional cohort.

  • Kick-off Webinar: Tuesday, April 25
  • Pre-work assignments due: May 15
  • In-person program, Columbus, OH: May 22-24
