Tip of the Week: Fashion-Forward Foster Hack
Foster volunteers come up with the best ideas. Here’s one
“We absolutely love the innovation and ingenuity we so commonly see from our foster families,” Wisconsin Humane shared in a recent Facebook post. “Needle was recovering from a neck wound and couldn’t resist scratching the area. So Kameyon, her foster parent, came up with a fashionable and cozy solution—a modified sock to keep her healing properly and looking fabulous!”
If one of your volunteers has come up with a cool hack like this, be sure to pass it along to all your foster families. And definitely make like Wisconsin Humane and post it on your socials. Not only will the volunteer appreciate the shout-out, it’s a great way to get engagement AND let your followers know about your foster program.
P.S. If you’re looking for a DIY alternative to e-collars, the iconic hack award goes to… paper plates! Here’s one YouTuber’s tutorial.
