All the feels, people, all the feels! Announcing the winners of the 2023 Wagsies Awards and the One & Fun Contest

This week at The Annual Conference in Portland, OR, we celebrated the compelling work of the marketers, story tellers and communicators among us. We were thrilled to announce the winners the 2023 Wagsies Awards, brought to you by Hill’s, and The Association’s One & Fun Contest, sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim. Take a break and take a look.

The Wagsies 2023

Now in their second year, The Wagsies award program honors outstanding marketing, promotional and storytelling videos created to help pets in need.

This year, The Anti-Cruelty Society earned both The People’s Choice Award and a Professional Choice Award for their “Beagle Rescue Initiative” video, and PAWS NY took home a Professional Choice Award.

The Association’s One & Fun Contest

Organizations were asked to submit a short video featuring your adoptable dogs enjoying behavior-enrichment activities. After getting through the first round, the three grand-prize winners were decided by a public vote:  Animal Friends, Inc., Animal Protective Association of Missouri, and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control.
