This position will manage new and existing community programs in four key areas: Volunteers, Events, Shelter Intervention & Diversion, and Access to Veterinary Care. The successful candidate will apply a strategic, data-informed lens to all program design, and hire, mentor and lead a 7-person team. 5+ years nonprofit or related experience, 3+ years in leadership; Spanish and English required. The Adoptions Manager will prioritize the customer experience in the Adoption Center, maintain daily operations, and provide high-touch support to 5 direct reports, including in-the-moment coaching. Clinical & Surgical Instructor – Shelter Medicine, Humane Colorado
Denver, CO
This role cultivates learning opportunities for externs in shelter and community medicine, while delivering high-quality medical and surgical care in a dynamic shelter and community medicine setting. The instructor will provide overall management and coordination of the program, while serving as the primary instructor for shelter medicine. This is also an adjunct faculty position with Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
