Animal Welfare Director, El Paso County
El Paso, TX

Seeking a visionary leader to plan and facilitate transformative change. The Animal Welfare Director develops and manages community programs, oversees daily operations, supervises staff and plays a pivotal role in overseeing comprehensive programs that improve animal welfare outcomes and enhance public safety. At least 6 years of experience in a progressively responsible position performing animal welfare, shelter management, public administration, or a related area. CAWA preferred. Learn more.

Executive Director, Animal Welfare Society
Kennebunk, ME

The search has begun for a confident, approachable servant leader to guide the organization into its next chapter of growth, including $2M in capital improvements and campus expansion. The ideal candidate will foster growth and unity across all levels of AWS while overseeing a state-of-the-art adoption center, full-service community veterinary clinic, stay-at-home foster program to assist temporarily unhoused pet owners, training program, and mobile spay/neuter.  Prior experience running an animal hospital is desired. CAWA credential is helpful. Shelter to Service Dog Trainer, Joybound People & Pets
Walnut Creek, CA

This position will train and place Psychiatric Service Dogs, therapy animals and emotional support animals, providing dogs and humans with foundational training, service skills and public access skills. Duties include teaching group and private dog training classes, and developing and implementing teaching curriculum, protocols, SOPs, and video trainings. Minimum of one year of service dog training; experience working with individuals with mental health conditions preferred. Learn more.

Animal Behavior Coordinator, NOCO Humane
Evans, CO

The successful candidate in this hands-on role will evaluate  animals and recommend outcomes and enrichment plans. Thi calm, compassionate individual will also provide animal handling and behavior training to staff and volunteers. 1+ year of experience working with animals and a demonstrated knowledge of body language, enrichment strategies, and humane handling required.
