A Spotlight on Large Dogs
The fourth edition of the Hill’s annual research series is the first focused on a specific population of vulnerable animals awaiting adoption – large dogs. Based on a survey of 2,000 Americans and informed by national shelter data, this year’s report examines the perceptions, barriers and motivations that shape large dog adoption decisions. The research and accompanying case studies featured in the report are designed to support the animal welfare community as a practical, data-driven resource to help place more large dogs into loving homes.
