Convene thought leaders and identify and create best practices.

Certification Council
Develop, promote and administer the CAWA exam and process.

Conference Committees
Manage and execute the delivery of professional conferences.
  • Spring Conference Committee - Manage and execute the delivery of the conference designed to catapult professionals to top level executive positions.
  • Fall Conference Committee - Manage and execute the delivery of the conference that focuses on critical issues needed for executive directors to advance the field.

Development Committee
Cultivate partnership opportunities with sponsor and other funders resulting in support revenue for The Association.

Finance Committee
Oversee the financial administration of The Association.

Governance Committee
Assess governance needs and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Membership Committee
Review and approve membership applications, implement effective recruitment strategies, and provide member support.

Volunteer Engagement Committee
Engage members of The Association’s expertise and leadership in volunteer opportunities.
